Re-Entry Transition Support for Individuals Returning Home

"Help is not on the way; it’s here!”

Helping returning citizens rebuild, reconnect, and transition back into society with dignity, support, and hope.

     Our Mission:

Big Mama’s Safe House supports formerly incarcerated individuals through the re-entry transition process by connecting them with practical resources, community support, and pathways toward stability. Our goal is to help each person prepare for a successful return to family, work, and community life.

       How We Help:

  • Locating suitable housing and halfway house options

  • Connecting individuals with employment opportunities and job-readiness support

  • Providing access to ready-to-work boots, clothing, and basic work essentials

Addressing food insecurity through food resources and meal preparation support

We serve individuals who are returning home after incarceration and need support building a safe, stable foundation for the next chapter of life.
